Introduction: Graphics 101: Kaylyn Barnes

About me: 

My name is Kaylyn Barnes.  I am a Media Arts Major at Arizona Western College.  My hobbies include writing, painting, and drawing.  I am a freshman this year at Arizona Western College and am hoping to transfer to ASU.

Goals for the School Year:

My goals for this school year would be to gain a better knowledge about communications and production.  I also hope to become a better writer and listener.  I feel that by taking this class I will be exposed to new ideas.  By learning about these new ideas I will become a stronger student here at AWC, which will benefit me in the future.

My Background:

Growing up I have always had a deep interest for anything that was art related.  I consider my communications skills to be adequately strong.  Being a very social and artistic person has drawn me into the path of wanting to be an art major in college.  My experience with graphic design is slim but i am a quick learner and feel that this will be a very enjoyable course for me to study.

My Future:

For my future goal and aspirations, I see myself becoming very successful.  Success to me means to achieve the goals that I have set for myself.  I hope to have graduated from a University with a complete education in Media Arts.  I see myself continuing my education here at AWC and transferring to ASU.  After i have graduated college, I hope to find a career in California.

Favorites:

Some of my favorite things include painting and drawing but i also love to vacation.  My favorite vacation spot has to be Disneyland.  I have always loved Disneyland as a child, so growing up I have never lost my love for it.
